Stylized Toy Chica for Blender
What you get
- Stylized Toy Chica
- Stylized Cupcake
- Example Scene with Pose and Lights
Software
Created with Blender 4.5.3 (latest as of release).
Use this, or a newer version of Blender, otherwise I can't guarantee that everything will function as intended.
No ports of the model to other software is included.
Rigging
Both Toy Chica and her cupcake are fully rigged.
The rig includes full IK (limbs, fingers, feet, spine), IK-FK switches, and various QoL features.
Both rigs also come with a rig UI that facilitates using features of the rigs.
Everything was custom made for the characters, no auto-rigger was used.
Modeling & Texturing
Everything was modeled for offline rendering using a subdivision-surface workflow.
Poly-count with no subdivision levels:
Toy Chica: ~92,000 faces
Cupcake: 26,038 faces
Texturing was done with Substance Painter and Blender.
The materials rely on shader-work, and can't easily be ported to other software.
Overall texture size in megabytes:
Toy Chica: 30 MB
Cupcake: 25 MB
Color & Rendering
The materials were created mainly with the Cycles render engine in mind.
The base color values were tunes for ACES color management. Rendering the model with Blender's default Filmic color management will likely result in washed out colors unless post processing is done. Because of this, the rig UI includes a saturation slider that lets you adjust the saturation of all materials at once, in case the model is used in a scene alongside with models with more highly saturated textures.
